The cliché phrase “love at first sight” was true when Whitney and Keith met on October 19, 2013. Meeting at a friend’s gathering in Tulsa, they were instantly drawn to each other in a way that neither had experienced before. In a perfect moment, Keith proposed to Whitney on April 23, 2014. After beautiful engagement celebrations, the 13-month wedding journey began.

First United Methodist Church in downtown Tulsa was selected for their May 9, 2015 nuptials. The nostalgic Crystal Ballroom at The Mayo Hotel was a fitting venue for the reception as they also resided at the Mayo 420 apartments.

The day arrived in grand fashion. Dear bridesmaids were in flowy mint dresses, polished groomsmen in gray tuxedos, adorable flower girls in tulle and the handsome ring bearer was at the ready. Whitney shared a prayer with her bridesmaids just before walking down the aisle. Escorted by her father, Whitney wore a Pronovias Letour off-shoulder scalloped rebrode lace gown. Embellished with silk buttons lining the back, sparkling sequins and a Swarovski crystal belt adorning her waist. She wore a cathedral-length scalloped veil with matching lace, accents and a crystal hair comb from her mother. She accessorized with Swarovski crystal drop earrings, and platinum and diamond accent pieces. An heirloom broach from her grandmother’s collection adorned her bridal bouquet that featured peach and ivory Vendela roses, white peonies, freesia, hydrangeas, peach hypericum, Queen Anne’s lace and seeded eucalyptus.

The ceremony was followed by a cocktail party in the Grand Hall at The Mayo where guests awaited Whitney and Keith’s arrival. The celebration moved to the Crystal Ballroom where guests dined on filet mignon, pecan-crusted chicken and risotto atop beautiful tablescapes. Treasured traditions, memorable speeches, and champagne toasts completed the perfect day as the newlyweds danced the night away with cherished family and friends.
