Country Club Oklahoma Wedding from Eventures | Morgan + Omar

Morgan and Omar were married on August 1, 2015, at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club. More than 400 guests were ushered down a secret chiffon hallway to the ceremony tent on the back lawn where they witnessed the couple’s union in a breathtaking, fully draped tent dripping in ethereal orchids and greenery. Wearing a stunning Jenny Packham gown, Morgan’s father escorted her down the aisle to Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years.” Vows were exchanged in front of a custom backdrop of white tufted velvet that ran the length of the tent. After sealing their promise with a kiss, the celebration began.

Guests were welcomed inside for cocktails where Harry’s Bar was transformed with a towering, life-sized tree with cascading branches each holding galax leaf escort cards. Mirrored elements reflected from floor to ceiling, all architecturally designed and inspired by the bride’s love for fashion.

For dinner, Eventures transformed the ballroom with velvet draping while oversized golden frames featuring floral sculptures lined the walls. A massive glass head table supported by dreamlike gold tree stumps adorned with a gravity defying floral arrangement wowed all. Guest tables glowed with shimmering candles, silk linens and elegant groupings of floral with mixed metal Chameleon Chairs. Guests felt as though they had been transported to another venue for the occasion.

After dinner, the bride and her father surprised guests with a choreographed dance to The Commodores’ “Brick House” that literally brought the house down! The party never stopped when The SoulSations took the stage, which sat beneath a crystal chandelier that glistened in front of white chiffon. Monogrammed hats, glow sticks and sunglasses were distributed to guests for a fun surprise!

At the end of the evening wearing huge smiles and hats adorned with the couple’s initial, the pair walked through a cloud of confetti into a vintage Rolls-Royce convertible. It had been the perfect day, one that Morgan would ask her dad (half jokingly) if they could recreate all over again.
