Elegant Amethyst Wedding + a Nod to the Bride’s Nigerian Heritage

Faye and Eric’s elegant wedding at The Manor is full of flourishing florals and fresh pops of amethyst. The outdoor ceremony was oh-so picturesque, with an altar full of white roses and sheer shades blowing in the wind. Essentially, making a showstopping runway for this stunning bride. Faye wore a lace fit-and-flare ballgown and held a beautiful bouquet of white peonies intermixed with a few purple roses from Tony Foss Flowers. The bridesmaids added to all the amethyst goodness with their amnesia rose and dust rose dresses. After the dreamy wedding ceremony, the party headed inside to their elegant, country-chic wedding reception. Gorgeous chandeliers hung above the dance floor, and a rustic wooden backdrop lined the wall, setting the scene perfectly for a photo op with Kristen Edwards Photography. This couple chose to keep it clean and simple with tall transparent candle displays, white linen dining cloths and black seating. We love the simplicity because it makes the florals, with a hint of purple and dust rose, pop that much more. But perhaps, what we love most about this elegant amethyst wedding is the couple’s nod to the bride’s Nigerian heritage – proving there’s nothing sweeter than adding special touches to your wedding day.
