High school sweethearts Caiti and Garrett met in study hall. Garrett was eighteen at the time and Caiti was fifteen. Garrett sat right behind Caiti and they would chat and listen to music together. That time quickly became Caiti’s favorite part of the day and their friendship blossomed into a relationship.

The couple was planning on attending an event at the country club the night Garrett proposed. A close friend of theirs lied that the event was to test out wedding vendors at the country club. Garrett said he was running late so he told Caiti to meet him there. When Caiti arrived, Garret was waiting on the golf course with flowers in hand and rose petals on the green. Caiti of course said yes and the newly engaged couple celebrated with family and friends at a surprise engagement party.
