Fall elegance perfectly describes Bailey + Christopher’s Tulsa country club wedding. Empire Event Lighting and Design created the most beautiful ambiance in their ballroom – read on to find out more about this sweet couple and their big day:
Bailey and Chris met during their middle school days at Monte Cassino. Although they went different ways in the following years, their paths crossed again after they returned home for the Fourth of July weekend. At this point, both had graduated from college and moved to different states to begin their careers. After the chance encounter, the couple pursued a relationship and began dating one another.
After dating for a few years, Chris opted to propose at Woodward Park over a romantic picnic. He told Bailey that he forgot the dessert and returned with a basket holding a darling Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy, the very dog Bailey had been coveting. The couple’s adorable new dog also had a beautiful ring on her collar. When Chris asked Bailey to marry him, she excitedly said yes.
Planning the wedding was a cinch with Christie Garrett from Southern Hills Country Club and their wedding planner, Allison Craig. Bailey had a vision from the beginning that stemmed from an ad that featured beautiful floral wallpaper, which was the inspiration for the couple’s nuptials. The bride-to-be’s mother and sisters accompanied Bailey on a girl’s weekend in Dallas to find ‘the dress.’ The staff at Carolina Herrera made wedding dress shopping fun, easy and the final choice was perfect for the bride. The bride added a dash of personalization to the gown with custom monograms, an ‘A’ for her maiden name and a ‘B’ for her married name.
The newlyweds and guests enjoyed the affair that evoked a feeling of dark romantic elegance that included an abundance of flowers.
