Garden roses and dried grasses from Ever Something bring this al fresco tablescape to life, and we love the peachy blooms and rust-colored amaranthus in this model’s wild-edged bridal bouquet. From the photographer: “One of my favorite things about Pecandarosa Ranch is, hands down, their grove. There are so many amazing spaces at this venue but the grove is something different than you’ll find anywhere else in Oklahoma. It feels magical when the light sets and creates that special Oklahoma glow. It is quiet and peaceful – almost like the rest of the world doesn’t exist which allows a body to be fully present. The grove also comes with a sense of freedom. There is something about nature that gives an environment a more relaxed and inviting feel and Pecandarosa’s grove definitely encompasses that feel! We wanted to reflect that simplicity and freedom with this shoot and tie in the ultimate joy each of us get to experience: marriage. This shoot was designed to feel comfortable, simple, fun and most of all, carefree like the grove. Weddings are about the love two people share and the commitment they are making to one another; about creating a life full of simple moments that make up our greatest joys. This shoot embodies that belief from the wind whispering through the grove’s massive trees reminding us to take pause and enjoy the simplicity of the moment to the bold and fun color pallet reminding us to find joy and experience life to its fullest. From the deer that wandered out of the forest tree line for a view of this event to the random cicada calling from a far off pecan tree as the sun set beyond the grove, this shoot and location are truly that special kind of Oklahoma magical.”
