Five Years of Making Ever Afters Even Happier

It’s been just a little over one month since the 5th Anniversary issue of Brides of Oklahoma magazine was released. This special mag made its debut at a 5th Anniversary party that our team hosted to honor the local wedding industry who have made the magazine what it is and the many brides featured in this commemorative edition!  It was truly a night to remember and we feel so privileged to get to work with and showcase the talent of such an amazing local wedding industry.  It’s been such an honor to feature hundreds of Oklahoma weddings in the magazine! To the wedding pros, thank you for sharing your talent with us and to the many, many Oklahoma brides past, present and future, thank you for inspiring us and so many other Oklahoma brides!

The party was held at the Meinders Hall of Mirrors located on the 2nd floor of the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City – the exact spot where the inaugural issue of the magazine debuted five years prior.  The evening was filled with fun, food and entertainment and we wanted to send a very special thank you to those Oklahoma vendors who made the night one we will never forget!  Innovative Event Solutions provided incredible lighting, draping to die for, an amazing disco ball chandelier focal and a lighted dance floor that kept everyone on their feet all night long!  The décor was amazing thanks to all of the fun lounge furniture and bars available through Mood Party Rentals and beautiful linens, ghost chairs, cabana draping with gorgeous suspended chandeliers, fun serving ware and more from Marianne’s Rentals for Special Events. The fabulous food was provided by Running Wild Catering, Cheever’s Catering and Aunt Pittypat’s Catering. Abby Road Catering contributed all of the fun drinks for the evening, including the much-raved-about Hypnotic champagne concoction to toast the release of the 5th Anniversary issue!  Special sweet treats of all kinds were served complements of Amy Cakes, Madison’s on Main, Mishelle Handy Cakes, Sugar, Rosebeary’s Designs and Apply Envy.  Box Talent delivered a master of ceremonies/DJ that kept the party lively in to the late, late hours, and Pen Weddings followed us to Denver and back to film the making of this special commemorative edition – stay tuned for that video!
