Ali and Shane knew of each other throughout high school, but didn’t cross paths until they both attended Oklahoma State University. After happening to be at the same bar one night, the pair unknowingly shared their first kiss on the establishment’s big screen. The next day, Ali anticipated Shane’s call. It was the beginning of something they knew to be an unbreakable bond of friendship that quickly turned to a deep love.

After dating for over a year, Shane was ready to propose. He planned a date night to visit The Mayo Hotel with plans of dinner afterward. Upon entering the Mayo, the pair walked into a colorful ‘60s-themed event in the hotel lobby. Shane, looking panicked, quickly retreated to the front exit. Bewildered, Ali followed when Shane suddenly stopped and got down on one knee. She still can’t remember what he said, but she excitedly said yes! Their romantic date night turned into an absolute dream.

The couple’s wedding day was everything they had hoped, thanks to their vendors who quickly became like family during the planning process. The elegant day featured bright whites with pops of silver sparkle. The Mayo Hotel effortlessly helped add to the elegance. A sequin aisle runner led to beautiful, white drapes dramatically hanging at the altar and the jaw-dropping floral chandelier handcrafted by Anne-Marie of The French Bouquet. The cocktail room consisted of modern, all-white couches and high cocktail tables with white sequin tablecloths topped with striking white floral arrangements. The head table centerpiece in the ballroom was exactly what Ali had in mind, but even more stunning.

Ali’s favorite memory was seeing Shane as she walked down the aisle with her dad. Seeing him for the first time that day made the experience of walking down the aisle so very special.
