Jennifer Degge and Drew Russell’s Pretty Pastel Wedding at The Springs in Edmond

Jennifer and Andrew first met on Tinder in 2014. The first guy Jennifer matched with was Drew, and after she gave him her number, she deleted the app because she had a gut feeling about him. They texted a few times and then randomly ran into each other at the gym, which was their first time meeting. The next time they ran into each other at the gym, Drew asked her to play basketball with him. Basketball led to a first date and the first date led to a lifetime together.

One year later, Drew was ready to propose. After church one day, they took Jennifer’s dog to the Myriad Gardens in Oklahoma City. Drew pointed to some flowers to distract Jennifer, and as he dropped a dog tag onto the ground, he said “Bella’s dog tag fell off!” Jennifer reached down to pick it up and noticed it read, “Will you marry me?” on the back. Drew told Jennifer how much she meant to him and then dropped to one knee and proposed.

On September 4, 2016, Jennifer and Drew were married at The Springs in Edmond. Jennifer looked gorgeous as she walked down the aisle in an ivory mermaid-style gown with beaded straps and sweetheart bodice. Her ivory chapel-length veil was adorned with lace and Swarovski crystals. One of the couple’s favorite moments from the wedding was when they had their first look before the ceremony, sharing a private, special moment together. They had their first dance to “Die a Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett, and the whole day was one the couple will always cherish.

Jennifer and Drew honeymooned in Saint Lucia after the wedding. They are currently enjoying married life in Edmond.
