We can’t get enough of the pops of cherry red in Mackenzie and Lane’s charming and classic wedding. Mackenzie and Lane met back in high school at a haunted house. After that night, the two exchanged numbers and began their love journey. The couple spent the next five years making the long-distance while in college work by making frequent trips between Norman and Shawnee. Finally, after five years together, Lane proposed in the same spot where the couple first met. Mackenzie thought she was going home for a family dinner. However, when Lane took a different turn because of “road construction,” Mackenzie knew something was up. Lane got down on one knee and asked Mackenzie to spend the rest of her life with him. Mackenzie, of course, said “YES,” and out popped all of their friends and family to celebrate the two!

The soft hues of cherry red in Mackenzie and Lane’s wedding at Sweetbelle Farms are absolutely charming. Mackenzie said, “from start to finish, our wedding day was perfect!” The day began with Mackenzie and her bridesmaids getting ready and spending quality time before the festivities. After spending the entire day apart, Mackenzie and Lane finally reunited at the altar. Mackenzie said she won’t ever forget the look on Lane’s face and the tears in his eyes when he finally saw his beautiful bride. How sweet! After sealing their love with a kiss, it was time to celebrate! The reception space contained subtle pops of cherry red florals by Allyson Whitney Designs. Not only did she create the most beautiful floral arrangements, but she also helped the couple plan and execute their fairytale wedding! The classic southern charm setting that Sweetbelle Farms provides combined with the classic cherry red florals made for the dreamiest wedding. Keep scrolling to see more!

Mackenzie and Lane’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“I can’t say enough good things about Allyson Whitney – our venue owner, florist, planner and coordinator all in one! She made all of our wedding dreams come true. Allyson is very attentive to details, brings life to simple thoughts and truly develops relationships with her couples. I would get married and go through the planning process all over again just to work with Allyson!”
