This Oklahoma bride turned “something old” into something beautiful! Her gorgeous custom veil crafted by Meg Guess Couture was accented with a lace edge from her mother’s wedding dress. We love how this bride tied in the past with the present. Whether you accent your cake with your grandmother’s broach or toast with the champagne glasses from your parents’ wedding, adding something from the past can really personalize your wedding day. Incorporating these family treasures served as inspiration for this bride’s vintage-inspired garden party wedding!
The colorful bouquets of peonies, mums, ranunculus and hydrangeas from The French Tulip held up against the bridesmaids’ floor-length, apple green, Vera Wang gowns with sweetheart neckline from J.J. Kelly Bridal in Oklahoma City, truly making this summer garden wedding pop. The amazing cake accented with a vintage broach was designed by Oklahoma cake artist, Amy Cullifer, with Amy Cakes.
Looking for something blue? We love how this bride shows off her playful personality with fuzzy blue shoes! You can find more details about this wedding on page A-50 in the January 2008 issue of The Brides of Oklahoma.
