Kate and Randy are the perfect pair. After meeting through an online dating site, they quickly saw the potential of their relationship. Through a series of virtual interactions, Kate and Randy ended up meeting for a movie. Before the previews even started, they both knew they were a match.

Being an avid skier, Randy thought it would be appropriate to introduce Kate to the big slopes as he had secretly planned to pop the question. Their trip to Telluride, Colorado, was to be a simple getaway; little did Kate know that Randy had something bigger in store. On the fourth day of their romantic trip, Kate and Randy were exploring a mountainside together. As they stopped to enjoy the view, Randy handed Kate a camera so she could watch a video he took of her skiing. When Kate looked up, Randy was on his knee in the snow with a ring held carefully in his hand. It was such an unexpected and sweet surprise.

On September 13, 2014, Kate and Randy’s picturesque day had finally arrived. Both being nature lovers, the wedding was officiated by Kate’s father at Beavers Bend Creative Escapes Nature House beneath a beautiful cedar arbor built by the groom. With the light softly peeking through the pines, the couple said, “I do,” and shared their first kiss.

The reception was held at the nearby Beavers Bend Creative Escapes Casa del Rey. With the help of their families, the entire day was full of personal touches. From the cakes, beautifully crafted by the bride’s mother to the florals arranged by the mother of the groom, it was everything the couple had hoped for. They were even able to include their shepards mix Kaiya into the festivities! As the campfire cast a cozy glow on the reception, guests enjoyed an evening of great company and a delicious meal prepared by Kate’s brother. Following the reception, the newlyweds made their way to the honeymoon spot, Morning Sky Cabin at Beavers Bend, before heading back home.
