Blake and Bailor met while attending college at Oklahoma State University. Bailor claims he introduced himself to Blake during spring break and that she blew him off, however, Blake says to this day she doesn’t recall this encounter! When the two crossed paths again, Blake knew she wanted to get to know the sweet talker. A few days later, they ran into each other at the famous Calf Fry Music Festival where Bailor asked Blake to dance, and the rest is history!
Blake and Bailor were taking graduation pictures when all of the sudden her dog Copper came running up with a shirt and bowtie on that said “Mom please say yes.” When she looked over at Bailor, he was on his knee!
The wedding was a true family affair with everyone from nieces and nephews and grandmothers playing a role in the celebration. Blake’s favorite memory was walking down the aisle to Bailor and sharing their vows in front of the people they love.
The couple shared their first dance to “She’s like Texas,” the same song they danced to at the Calf Fry. In typical Bailor fashion, he changed the lyrics to “She’s like Tahlequah.” As another tribute to the night that sparked their relationship, the late night bites were calf fries.
The day was filled with wonderful memories, but none more notable than the commitment they made.
