Meredith and Grant’s remarkable love for one another exceeds all limitations. The couple met in the seventh grade and spent their childhood attending church together. Once they were old enough to date, the two spent the duration of their relationship in different parts of the world. The love Meredith and Grant share for each other transcends all length of time and space; distance could not keep them apart.
When the couple was together again, Grant took Meredith on a leisurely walk before dinner one afternoon. Little did she know, Grant had remembered a comment she made about missing the fall while living in Africa. While on their walk, Meredith approached a fall scenery filled with mason jar lights hanging from the trees, pumpkins and hay bales scattered about, and a bench hand-built by Grant himself. In that moment, Grant asked Meredith to be his wife.
The couple wed on a miraculous bright, sunshiny April day at the Skelly Lodge in Oklahoma. Meredith walked down the aisle in an embellished sheath gown, showing illusion lace back and sleeves. Meredith also wore an antique, aquamarine bracelet owned by her great-grandmother, inspiring something old and something blue. She carried a handkerchief with lace from her mother, her grandmothers, her groom’s mother and his grandmothers’ dresses all stiched on as a special momento.
Before the couple traveled down the aisle, the two exchanged wedding gifts to one another. Meredith and Grant pride themselves on their love for adventure, so it was only fitting that they each gave the other a compass to resemble the journeys the two will take in the future, starting with their honeymoon in Whistler, Canada.
