This “Secret Garden” Wedding Has Been the Hardest Secret For Us to Keep!

The secret is out – our cover bride’s elegant fall wedding is here, and we couldn’t be more in awe! Swathi and Tim’s wedding weekend celebration was full of love, cultural traditions and details that had us absolutely swooning from the second we first saw their gallery. To start off the weekend of “secret garden” festivities, the couple had a traditional American wedding ceremony and dinner reception, followed by a traditional Indian wedding ceremony and lunch reception the next day, both taking place at the beautiful Coles Garden Wedding and Event Center – quite literally the perfect venue for this couple’s garden, elegant, colorful vision to come to life!

With a burgundy, peach and plum palette that just draws you in, these warm, autumnal colors are infused in every element, from the chic bridesmaids dresses down to the custom invitation suite crafted by Eros Studios. Truly stunning florals by XO by Haleigh Kenney (A.K.A. “the queen of flowers,” a la the bride herself) make each scene – installations full of a collection of peach dahlias, burgundy and coral peonies, garden roses, sweet pea ranunculus and an assortment of berries, copper beach and fall foliage create the ideal juxtaposition in this floral design. Nothing is more romantic than a secret garden feel, and moody gold and deep plum decor from Marianne’s Rentals sets the tone for an evening dinner reception, while light blush and peach decor ties seamlessly into the traditional Indian lunch reception for the next day – while OKC Entertainment enhanced every romantic or brunch feel with the right tunes to set the mood.

Swathi wore an off-the-shoulder trumpet silhouette bridal gown from Bella Rose Bridal – Edmond and accessorized with a crystal belt from The Bridal Boutique for an added touch of sparkle. Her bridal look was complemented with luxe Hollywood-style curls with one side pinned behind the ear, naturally glowing skin, bold eyeliner and a wine-colored lip, all by Brushed Salon and Makeup Studio. The Skirvin Hilton was the perfect accommodations for the bride and groom plus their guests to take a nights rest between the weekend-long celebration, and favors from Mixed Sugar were the sweetest late night snack to enjoy. All of this gorgeousness couldn’t have been possible without the expect wedding planners from Fête – thank you for our newest obsession! Pulley Productions‘ wedding video from this day is a cinematic masterpiece, while Kristen Edwards Photography captured every detail of this weekend-long celebration flawlessly, including the stunning cover shot for our newest issue of The Brides of Oklahoma – how beautiful, right? Scroll to see all the details of this secret garden wedding and to see why it was such a hard secret to keep! Cheers to The Farinas!

From the bride about her dream wedding maker: “Haleigh Kenney is truly the queen of flowers. A challenge we faced with a two-day ceremony was ensuring that both families and traditions were well-represented, but that all of the decor and florals were cohesive so everything felt like one big event. Haleigh, despite never having done an Indian wedding, accepted that challenge in stride and created floral masterpieces that were a perfect blend of her talent and my preferences. Her creativity and positivity are traits that I will always admire.”
