Taylor McEntire & Connor McNeil

Taylor and Connor said “I do” to a light and airy August wedding full of traditional details and slate blue hues. The couple met their freshman year at Oklahoma State University. Taylor and Connor initially met on a blind date, but nothing came it. However, a few weeks later, Taylor started an online trivia game with Connor with no intentions of starting up a conversation. Connor could not win against Taylor, so he messaged her, calling Taylor out for cheating. It just so happened that Taylor was looking up the answers and caught her in the act. Taylor and Connor kept teasing back and forth. Eventually, Connor asked for Taylor’s number to go on a date, and the rest is history! Taylor shared with us, “I’m forever grateful that I got to experience some of the best years of my life with my best friend by my side. 6 1/2 years later, and we are now husband and wife!”

Taylor and Connor began their wedding weekend with a rehearsal dinner at The Patriot Golf Club for family and close friends to gather and celebrate the couple. The following morning, Taylor got ready with her girls and a Starbucks coffee, definitely a must. After Taylor got all glammed up, they headed to Pecandarosa Ranch. There, the couple did a first look. Taylor said, “I felt overwhelmed with love and joy walking up to him. That moment being intimate and private is so special to me!” However, as soon as Taylor started to walk down the aisle, she became surrounded by beautiful natural light. Once again, Taylor felt flooded with all the emotions she felt earlier at the first look. After Taylor and Connor solidified their marriage with a kiss, everyone proceeded into the reception space to celebrate!

With decor and rentals from Party Pro Rents, their reception space continued to feel light, airy, and joyful like the couple. In addition, the couple added fun entertainment elements to their big day with a live portrait painting from Courtney Kibby Designs and a visit from their alma mater, Pistol Pete. Finally, to end the night, Taylor and Connor hopped on the tailgate of their orange, ’67 Chevrolet getaway truck to soak in the last few minutes of the firework display. Mary Keen Photography captured this moment and many others that you’ll have to keep scrolling to see. Cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. McNeil.

Taylor and Connor’s Dream Wedding Maker:

From the bride: “I can’t say enough great things about Pecandarosa Ranch. Throughout the wedding planning process, Connor and I loved getting to know the owners and forming a friendship with them. We couldn’t have thought of a more perfect place that represented us and our relationship as a couple as well as the Pecandarosa Ranch.”
