Teale and Josh met at The Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas while both on trips with friends. As soon as they met, they knew there was something special about one another. The groups went their separate ways, and Teale and Josh didn’t see each other for the rest of the trip. Months later when Josh found out his job was relocating him to Oklahoma, he immediately thought of Teale. He texted her and they began talking every day. After their first date, they became inseparable.

After spending the day with a friend, Teale arrived to her house to find candles, roses, a timeline of their love story, and their new golden retriever puppy! In the backyard was a palm tree and pictures to commemorate the night they met in the Bahamas. Josh got down on one knee to propose, and Teale couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day!

Thanks to the help by her amazing vendors, Teale’s elegant wedding turned out exactly how she envisioned. Teale used navy, cream, blush, and pops of gold and red for her winter wedding. The bride walked down the aisle in an ivory crepe mermaid gown with hand-beaded tulle sleeves and her mother’s cathedral-length veil. Teale selected a unique gown for each of her bridesmaids to complement their style and personalities.

Teale and Josh’s guests loved the candy bar. The couple also had a hot chocolate bar outside, which included flannel blankets sewn by the mother-of-the-bride for guests’ use. It was important to the bride and groom to recognize their late grandparents on their wedding day, so they had their names featured in their program. The bride also wore her grandmother’s earrings on her big day.

The entire day was unforgettable, but Teale and Josh especially loved their private first look together. They will always cherish the memory of seeing each other for the first time and exchanging the special vows they had written for each other. It was the perfect moment to spend alone together and soak in the whole day. They also particularly loved their reception; the live band was incredible and kept the dance floor packed all night. The bride and groom shared their first dance to “To the Moon and Back” by Luke Bryan.

The bride and groom honeymooned in Anguilla, and now reside in Houston, where Teale works as a recreational therapist and Josh is an engineer.
