We knew this Oklahoma vintage wedding would be beautiful, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The oh-so-lovely bride is none other than Oklahoma wedding planner Heather Cole of Forever Cole Events! Read on for more details:
After Heather and Brian met through mutual friends, Brian always promised Heather he would sweep her off her feet. He was true to his word, and a year later they started dating. When the time came to propose, Brian decided to plan something special while the couple was visiting Heather’s favorite place – Breckenridge, Colorado. While walking around downtown, Heather spotted a stunning ice castle and insisted they go in. Once inside, Brian asked a kind stranger to take the couple’s picture. As they smiled and posed, Brian knelt down on one knee and asked Heather to marry him. Of course she said yes! The excitement carried on as they celebrated with friends at a restaurant later that evening.
Heather was eager to plan a romantic wedding full of personable details and gorgeous vintage accents at the Magnolia Building in downtown Oklahoma City. On November 15, 2014, the bride’s grandfather escorted her down the aisle to the love of her life as she donned a lace sheath-fitting dress complete with a chapel-length train. Heather and Brian’s favorite moment of the day was when the curtain to the aisle opened and they saw each other for the first time as “Cinema” by Jason Evigan began to play.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds snuck some alone time and shared a meal together to soak it all in before returning to the celebration. Friends and family enjoyed an evening of food, dancing and fun before the couple jetted off to their honeymoon in Jamaica. Mr. and Mrs. Cole returned home to Oklahoma City where Heather continues her passion of event and wedding planning.
