Each month, our editorial team selects one standout wedding to spotlight — a day that truly shines for its creativity, personality, and unforgettable details.
This month, we’re thrilled to feature Alicia & Sterling’s bloom-filled summer wedding at Vinterra Tulsa. The couple celebrated in Bixby on May 16th, and their celebration was nothing short of a wow from start to finish.
WEDDING DAY
Set against the bright, modern backdrop of Vinterra Tulsa, Alicia & Sterling’s summer wedding was filled with thoughtful details, lush florals, and meaningful moments that reflected their love story. Planned by Malyn Made Weddings, the celebration embraced a soft palette of blues and pastels, creating an elegant, garden-inspired atmosphere from ceremony to reception.
Guests were welcomed into a ceremony framed by a breathtaking floating floral installation by Ever Something, which seamlessly carried into the reception and created a cohesive, bloom-filled backdrop throughout the day. There was timeless decor & rentals from Party Pro Rents, while Marianne’s Rentals added a playful, personal touch with the couple’s custom “Our Best Buds” seating chart.
One of the most memorable moments of the day came during Alicia & Sterling’s first dance. As an inter-abled couple, the dance held special meaning for them, becoming a beautiful reflection of their relationship and a reminder that every wedding should celebrate a couple exactly as they are.
Planning from another state made having the right team especially important, and Alicia credits the Malyn Made planning team as one of the biggest reasons the day came together so seamlessly. Their flexibility with virtual meetings, constant communication, and thoughtful guidance throughout the planning process allowed the couple to enjoy every moment leading up to the wedding while bringing their vision to life with care and intention.
Filled with heartfelt moments, intentional design, and the people they love most, Alicia & Sterling’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, authenticity, and joy.
ON OUR DAY…
“My favorite moment was our first dance. As an inter-abled couple, it was the part of the day I was most nervous about. My husband uses a manual wheelchair, and for a while I even wondered if we should skip it altogether. Looking back, I’m so grateful we didn’t.
