Keeping Tradition Alive
“We are an interracial couple, and it was important for us to merge our communities. We did this by choosing a circular ceremony space instead of a traditional aisle, symbolizing our families and friends from varying backgrounds coming together for our union. It was a special moment to see all our loved ones from diverse cultural backgrounds surrounding us, embracing and supporting us on our special day.”
The Wedding Day
Hillary and Adam’s wedding was a beautiful blend of sophistication and personal touches, captured perfectly by a stellar team of vendors. The Fordson Hotel provided a stunning backdrop for their weekend celebration, starting with a heartwarming rehearsal dinner in the venue’s elegant penthouse. The following day, the hotel continued to impress with its perfect setting for the ceremony and reception, complemented by delicious catering and bartending from Mary Eddy’s.
Hillary looked radiant in a gown from La Mariée Boutique, custom-fitted by the talented team at Valentine Bridal, while Adam was dashing in a tuxedo from William & Lauren Custom Clothier. The celebration featured classic touches from Marianne’s Rentals, brought to life by Borrowed Charm’s meticulous vision and planning, adding an extra layer of elegance and grace to the event. Chandler Rae Photography captured every detail beautifully, preserving the magic of the day.
A sweet highlight of the reception was the three exquisite cakes provided by Amy Cakes, adding a delectable touch to the celebration. Unique elements included custom vinyl signage by Eros Studios, adding a personal touch to the decor. A particularly special moment was when Adam gifted Hillary a BC Clark locket necklace with a photo of her parents on their wedding day, honoring a loved one who couldn’t be there to celebrate with them.
Every element of Hillary and Adam’s wedding was thoughtfully curated, creating an unforgettable experience. From the stunning venue and exquisite decor to the heartfelt moments and impeccable service, every detail came together to celebrate their love in the most beautiful way.
Hillary’s Favorite Moment
“The moment I walked into the ceremony & saw our family and friends gathered, with Adam standing on the stage, is something I’ll never forget. Seeing Adam in the center of our circular ceremony & finally witnessing the venue transformed into a whimsical space were highlights of the day.”
