Bailey and Cody’s colorful garden wedding was inspired by the changing seasons. Their color palette — described as “summer runs into fall” by their florist — is vibrant, beautiful and welcoming. Take a peek below!

How the Couple Met

This couple’s love story began after college when Cody bought Bailey a drink during a night out in 2020. The next day, he asked her out. Although the two had known each other since high school — even attending the same university — their relationship only began after that pre-Covid weekend. 

Two dates later and the world shut down because of the pandemic. Despite the state of affairs, the two kept seeing each other (while isolating from others) to see where the relationship would go. 

While restaurants, movie theaters and other common date spots remained closed, Cody and Bailey spent time together in pandemic-friendly ways. Walks outside, jigsaw puzzles and meeting friends via Zoom all play a role in their love story. As the bride writes, “It was strange dating in Covid, but we wouldn’t change our story for anything!”

After the pandemic ended, the couple’s relationship blossomed even more with family vacations, football games and date nights. In 2022, Cody popped the question in front of the OU Memorial Stadium, and on September 15, 2023, Bailey said “I do” to the man of her dreams.

Bailey & Cody’s Wedding Day

Bailey and Cody’s wedding festivities began with a rehearsal dinner at  City + State, where the couple and their loved ones enjoyed a downtown view of Oklahoma City on a luxurious rooftop. 

The next day, Bailey had her hair and makeup done before stepping into her gown from Chantilly Bridal Studio. Her full look was completed by accessories and fine jewelry from BC Clark Jewelers. As Bailey beautified for her big day, her bridesmaids primped beside her, accessorizing with handmade jewelry from Made by Maddie Designs.

Bailey and Cody’s ceremony and reception took place at Myriad Botanical Gardens, surrounded by natural beauty and colorful florals by XO by Haleigh Kenney. Their dream wedding look was completed with decor from Marianne’s Rentals. As guests arrived, they were welcomed by Sooner Valet, who provided a seamless parking experience.

The Arnolds’ reception was filled with delicious food and sweets, thanks to Abbey Road Catering and Amy Cakes. Along with dinner and dessert came dancing made possible by OKC Entertainment & Events. As everyone danced the night away, guests had the opportunity to capture the evening in a photo booth provided by PhotoVille.

The incredibly talented KGC Photography captured Bailey and Cody’s special day. “Our wedding day was everything!” writes the bride. “My bridesmaids kept commenting on how relaxed I was, and I knew it was because I had no nerves and no doubts that it would be a great day. I was full of excitement for the day ahead and the forever afterwards.”

“My favorite memory was the last song our band played for everyone, where Cody and I joined the band on stage singing Blink-182. We could look out into the crowd and see everyone’s faces and how much fun they were having, but most importantly, how many people love and support us!”
