Angela and Jared first met when they were in middle school. Although they knew each other, they didn’t speak more than a handful of words to one another until college. Three years later, Jared finally worked up the nerve to take Angela on their first date.
After a few years of dating, Jared planned a dinner date for the two of them at Park House on a seemingly ordinary Thursday night. Throughout dinner, Jared couldn’t stop staring at the football game on the television. Little did Angela know that Jared was shaking in his chair during the entire meal. After dinner, Jared suggested they walk to the base of the Devon Tower to take some pictures, but it began to rain. Against Angela’s wishes, they made the small trek. Before they reached their destination, Angela turned around to find Jared kneeling behind her holding up a ring. The rain didn’t bother her so much after that as she happily said yes.
On June 13, 2015, Angela and Jared celebrated their nuptials with loved ones at Park House, where Jared had proposed. Their modern and whimsical wedding, with a hint of vintage flair, fit their styles perfectly. The ceremony was filled with simple cream, nude and dark green décor inspired by the bridesmaids’ unique dresses. Angela stunned as she walked down the aisle in a gown she designed with Carolyn Humphrey of Helen Enox Fine Fabrics. To keep with the spirit of their wedding, Angela wanted her dress to evoke a vintage feel but with modern accents. Seventeen years after meeting each other in middle school, Angela and Jared finally became Mr. and Mrs. and enjoyed the best day of their lives.
