It was love at first sight when Leslie met Beau at a mutual friend’s house. His big smile and friendly personality had her hooked from the beginning. After months of dating, Beau proposed at the couple’s church lining the aisle with candles while her favorite song played and a friend secretly snapped photos. On one knee, with a stunning engagement ring by Lewis Jewelers, Beau asked Leslie to be his wife. After the perfect proposal, he surprised her with an engagement party at Packard’s rooftop.

After sending dozens of brides down the aisle, it was Leslie’s turn to create a wedding of her dreams. On January 31, 2015, Leslie walked down the same aisle where Beau proposed at Frontline Downtown Church. Her simple, fine tulle cathedral veil paired perfectly with her ivory lace Watters gown. She incorporated some fun into her bridal attire with Kendra Scott earrings and blue velvet pumps. Seven of her best friends wore unique styles and shades of neutral pastel floor-length, luxe chiffon gowns by Prim. Leslie’s father escorted her down the aisle and the couple’s mentoring pastor, Brian Elliott, led the ceremony.

Leslie partnered with Mood Party Rentals to design an elegant reception. Custom mirrored tabletops, nude satin and square blush sequin ghost chairs, and draped gold chivari chairs were just a few details that evoked the feeling of a fairytale at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum. Guests enjoyed delectable food by Abbey Road Catering and danced the night away to live music. Amy Cakes baked three delicious cakes: one with the couple’s monogram, one with lace from Leslie’s gown and another with a winter whitewash finish. The cakes rested on a custom table from Leslie’s first wedding photo shoot.
