An international trip brought Audrey and Ethan together for the first time. They were both attending the same college and met on a mission trip to Greece. They continued their friendship throughout the summer before Ethan asked Audrey to a Coldplay concert. Even though they went just as friends they both walked away having feelings for each other. After talking and texting for a few weeks, they finally went on their first official date.

Ethan told Audrey they were going to have a date night at a jazz concert and then a picnic afterwards. Audrey was all dressed up and Ethan said he was super hungry and convinced her to go straight to dinner. At the park, they walked down to a peninsula near downtown Tulsa. A blanket was already set up with dried lavender and candles. Ethan got down on one knee and asked Audrey to marry him. After saying yes, the couple walked further into the park to a surprise engagement party with family members, friends and champagne.
