Alexa and Thomas first met in high school, but they didn’t reconnect until after college when they ran into each other at a bar in Oklahoma. They exchanged numbers and went on a date a week later. This was the beginning of their love story. When Thomas was ready to propose, he took Alexa and their dog out to his family’s ranch near Guthrie. After exploring the property and watching a gorgeous sunset, he got down on one knee and asked Alexa to be his wife. She, of course, said yes.

On September 23, 2016, Alexa and Thomas were married at The Barn at the Woods in Edmond. Alexa looked stunning in a tiered, rose hued, ombre tulle gown with sequins and silver cut beads. Her blush-colored fingertip-length veil complemented her look perfectly. Her bouquet was full of soft-colored flowers, and she wore a flower crown during the reception. The mothers of the bride and groom lit a unity candle during the ceremony, a special moment incorporated into the wedding.

Alex and Thomas had their first dance to “Rivers and Roads” by The Head and the Heart. The song was made even more special when Thomas’s siblings surprised them with a musical performance of the song. The entire day was a dream come true, and it is a day the couple will always cherish.

After the ceremony, Alexa and Thomas honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The happy couple is now enjoying married life at their home in Oklahoma City.
