Roaring 20s Meets Mod Art Deco in a Civic Center Music Hall Wedding

Held at the Civic Center Music Hall, this modern art deco affair combines with 1920s style to create the most stylish winter wedding! Grace Anne and Caleb’s wedding weekend accommodations were made luxurious with a stay in the 21c Museum Hotel, conveniently located near the venue and just a short walk from Midtown OKC! Bride Grace Anne looks absolutely breathtaking in her form-fitting bridal gown from J.J. Kelly Bridal Salon that features a deep V-neck as well as gorgeous intricate beadwork and detailing. Caleb looks dashing as well and his wedding look is complete with an elegant and tasteful boutonnière to match his groomsmen, created by Trochta’s Flowers and Garden Center. Grace Anne’s bridal party is clad in the sweetest blush gowns from The Bridal Boutique, and we love the way their looks complement the bride! To finish this wedding off on a sweet note, Amy Cakes created a stunning, five-tiered art deco cake topped with fresh floral accents, modern textured ivory fondant and gold embellishments, as well as a jet-setting airplane themed groom’s cake! Tablescapes lined with fresh white linens, towering crystal vases filled with gorgeous floral centerpieces and gold Chiavari chairs from Marianne’s Rentals help bring this glamorous winter wedding scene to life, and we adore the way the whole day came together seamlessly! Read on to hear from the bride about how the idea for their winter wedding’s modern art deco theme came about, plus how the couple used their venue to help determine their wedding color scheme. From the bride: “Our wedding date was January 4th, so we decided to keep the NYE party vibe rolling into our wedding weekend and tried to channel all things winter glam. We went for a modern 1920s theme to celebrate an extension of the new year, and from there, our gorgeous reception space, the Hall of Mirrors at the Civic Center Music Hall, helped us determine our color scheme.”
