An Ultra Chic Engagement Session at the Philbrook Museum of Art

This sleek and chic engagement session captured by Andi Bravo Photography is so luxe and classy, the Philbrook Museum of Art served as the perfect backdrop for a gorgeously elegant gallery! MacKenzie and Colt’s story first began when they crossed paths through a mutual friend while attending the University of Oklahoma. After some talking, the pair discovered they had actually lived just ten minutes from each other and had attended rival high schools while growing up, yet never knew each other! All in good timing, though, the two are knee-deep in nuptial planning and will be tying the knot in an uptown, classy wedding in February of 2021. MacKenzie and Colt say their plans involve a formal ceremony at The Mayo Hotel in shades of deep red, light pink, and ivory followed by a fun-filled reception accented by live music from Royal Dukes Band! Though she is excited about the live entertainment as well as having Amy Lee Illustrations on-site creating their custom wedding painting, MacKenzie says she is most excited about her bridal attire. “One of my favorite details is my dress!” MacKenzie says. “It’s something that fits my style and I can’t wait to get to wear it!” We love nothing more than a wedding gown that makes a statement while encompassing a bride’s personality so we can’t wait to see this dress, these gorgeous wedding details, and more in their upcoming wedding at The Mayo Hotel. Keep scrolling to see Andi Bravo Photography‘s skills in action in this ultra chic engagement session and read on to hear the soon-to-be bride’s oh-so-sweet story about how he popped the question on the picturesque rooftop of The Capitol View Event Center! Cheers to MacKenzie and Colt!

From the bride: “Colt’s family owns a car dealership so he told me we were going to OKC with his family to attend a Christmas party for Oklahoma Auto Dealers. He and his dad left the hotel early for a ‘meeting’ and then his mom and I were going to arrive when the party started. We went up to the top floor of The Capitol View Event Center and when I walked out on the rooftop there stood Colt with giant letters that read MARRY ME with a trail of rose petals! He proposed with a custom ring from Belgium (the diamond capital of the world) and gave me a Bible with my new name printed on it! After I said yes, my entire family popped out of a closet and had been there the entire time! It was a dream!”
