Country Christmas Styled Shoot by Allyson Whitney Designs

Bringing an extra dose of holiday magic to your feed, we’re so excited to finally share this country Christmas styled shoot from Allyson Whitney Designs! The modern yet rustic backdrop of The Dowry‘s white wood beamed walls and stained concrete floors were elegantly juxtaposed with traditional and festive decor. Towering arrangements of evergreen branches, red and white roses and holly berries were the perfect match for the table’s Christmas classic color scheme, incorporating elements of trend-conscious decor in the mixed metal flatware and mismatched place settings. Taking on the idea of country chic meets both timeless and trendy, Mishelle Handy Cakes helped create a cake to combine the best of all of these with a layered, nearly-naked design topped with fruits in bold hues like cranberries, grapes, pomegranate and a pear. Capturing the festivities, Tammy Odell Photography posed the model bride in the golden afternoon light of the barn-like venue’s rural outdoor setting. Her lace appliqué strapless gown paired perfectly with a stylish white fur stole – the ideal accessory for winter brides to keep the late month’s evening chill at bay. A tufted forest green velvet couch provided an ideal seating area to dress up the outdoor scene, while the table scene was then moved outside to show options for a cheery holiday themed wedding ideal for both indoors and out!
