Downtown Tulsa Engagement Session Starring a Romantic Rooftop Picnic

These two had a blast adventuring around for their downtown Tulsa engagement session, celebrating their love with a romantic rooftop picnic! And on the menu? Yummy margharita pizza! Brittiny and Hunter’s story first began much before they fell in love. The two actually attended Owasso Schools together since elementary school but reconnected later at a music festival. They hit it off, and the rest was history! When it was time to pop the question, Hunter didn’t opt for ordinary! Brittiny says the two were on a tropical vacation, lounging at a small beach in Maui, Hawaii. They’d separated from the rest of their friends to look for sea creatures and seashells, and that’s when he saw his opportunity and took his chance to get down on one knee. Most importantly, she said YES! We love how in love they look in these trendy downtown Tulsa engagement photos, but we already can’t wait to see the pictures Chelsea Littleton Photography captured in their wedding. Brittiny and Hunter were just wed in an intimate ceremony at Hunter’s parents’ house on October 3rd! Brittiny says their nuptials were vintage and boho chic in theme, but she wanted the environment to feel more like a music festival with different hangouts and focal points. They based their color scheme on a beautiful vintage rug they found to use in the wedding – a palette that included dusty blues, mauve, golds, navy, grey and cream. We can’t wait to see their Coachella-esque wedding scenes play out for ourselves soon, but for now, we will be obsessing over these boho chic downtown Tulsa engagement shots! Read on to hear a note from the now-bride about her favorite wedding day memories, plus some special sentimental details. Cheers to Brittiny and Hunter!

From the bride: “I love that it was at my husband’s parents’ house. He grew up there, and we’re over there frequently for family gatherings so it makes it all the more special that our wedding was there. Also loved the vintage furniture lounge areas, cigar bar and crescent moon altar we made.”
