Wide open landscape makes it seem like these two are the only ones in the world, and their love is so obvious in this field engagement session captured by Mary Keen Photography! Savannah and Garrett’s story actually began when they met through a dating app, and the rest was history! After Garrett popped the question in perhaps the sweetest way possible (keep reading to hear the bride tell it from her side), the two are set to be wed in a January ceremony at the Renaissance Waterford Oklahoma City! They are planning for a color palette of pinks, dusty blue and opulent gold accents for an all-around whimsical affair. One of Savannah’s favorite details about their upcoming nuptials is the invitations! “(The invitations) are a small detail, but something very special to me,” Savannah says. “I was able to paint and design our own wedding invites, using watercolors to paint a bouquet of flowers that are scattered throughout the invitation suite.” Along with their darling DIY invites, the couple is also looking forward to seeing their event set up with decor from Mood Party Rentals, tasting their delicious creation from Amy Cakes and seeing Savannah walk down the aisle in a gown from Bella Rose Bridal! With an amazing vendor team like this one, we are positive that Savannah and Garrett’s whimsical winter wedding will be everything and more! Read on to hear the soon-to-be bride tell the story of how he popped the question. Cheers to Savannah and Garrett!

From the bride: “With a good amount of thought and effort by Garrett and our families, the proposal was certainly the best moment we have had in our lives thus far. A friend gave us the opportunity to use their beautiful home for the proposal. It was a fitting spot, leaving not only a picturesque area for the proposal, but a wonderful setting to celebrate with our families afterwards. The decorations began with pictures from dates and events in our lives that lined the curio in the foyer. Flowers are a sure fire way to my heart, so he had the walkway to our proposal spot lined with gorgeous flower arrangements, candles, and had the fireplace burning. Though picturesque, the proposal wasn’t complete without a little Taylor Swift. Softly in the background over the speakers Taylor Swift’s song ‘Lover’ played as we walked hand in hand down the adorned hallway. At the end of the hallway Garrett got down on one knee to ask me to be his wife. That day we will always look back with joy and full hearts.”
