Emily and Chris said, “I do,” with a rustic, bohemian summer wedding at The Pines at Moser Farms. The two met on Emily’s 21st birthday waiting in line at Chick-Fil-A on their college campus. Chris came right up to Emily and started a conversation. The next day the two went on a date, and the rest is history! When Chris decided it was finally time to get down on one knee and propose to the love of his life, Chris recruited Emily’s best friend, Abby. Chris proposed over Thanksgiving while the couple was visiting Emily’s family in Indianapolis. Abby had a camera and asked Emily to do a photo shoot downtown, which was out of the ordinary for the friends to do. As Abby and Emily were walking downtown, Chris appeared behind a wall. Emily felt completely shocked as Chris got down on one knee and proposed. Best of all, her best friend was there to capture the entire moment on camera.
Emily and Chris’ rustic wedding contained neutral decor with soft terracotta accents to give that bohemian feel. Surrounded by their family from all over the country, the couple felt all the love on their special day. Family and friends gathered underneath the Oklahoma sky with the tall whimsical pine trees for a truly magical outdoor ceremony. Emily made the most beautiful bride with a soft glam bridal look and gown with lace detailing. After the ceremony, guests walked inside the modern rustic venue space for a candlelit dinner. Emily said, “the whole day couldn’t have been better. Every little detail from getting ready, our first look, walking down the aisle, and the crazy dance party after dinner was like my own perfect little movie!” The ever-so-talented Chelsea Littleton Photography captured the couple’s entire day from start to finish.
