French Countryside Wedding Inspiration from Leslie Herring Events

While we’ll never be shy to share our love for ultra modern or dazzlingly glamorous weddings, there’re so many oh-so-sweet details in this French countryside wedding inspiration shoot to make us obsess over Leslie Herring Events‘ “less is more” take on European charm! Captured by Kristen Edwards Photography, the team played up the natural beauty in Hillside Manor’s perfectly manicured grounds. Ivy covered structures, winding stone walls and even a little pond created the most picturesque backdrop for a sophisticated take on rural beauty! As a centerpiece to the shoot’s decor and main source of color, The Wild Mother created organic flower arrangements with blooms in shades of blush, coral, lilac, periwinkle, lilac and bright pink. Touches of overgrown greens gave the bouquet and table display a “freshly picked from the garden” appearance to add to the rustic charm. A simple yet stunning table display from Mood Party Rentals was created with a fluffy, textured blush-hued table linens, brushed silver serveware and a dainty ribbon-tied place card in soft pink script from Paper + More. They also crafted a lovely custom invitation suite complete with a floral design similar to the bouquet carried by the model bride! The bride herself donned two different looks, both elegant and perfectly suited for the charming French-inspired affair – first a V-front lace top flowing dress, perfect for a dreamy ethereal vibe and then a delicately beaded and embellished cold-shoulder, layered tulle gown. Blo. created a simple chignon to keep her hair pulled back for both looks, and Lewis Jewelers provided the glittering pear-shaped diamond she modeled as an engagement ring. But for one of the sweetest moments? We can’t get enough of the three-tier white and blue cake with it’s rope-like bordering and floral embellishments from Andrea Howard Cakes. From start to finish, we’re loving every detail of this country-chic wedding shoot! Enjoy!
