Laura and Adam met through a mutual friend during their junior year of college at the University of Oklahoma. It didn’t take long after their first encounter at Brothers Eatery & Pub on Campus Corner before Adam asked Laura on a date. By the close of their junior year, the couple was inseparable. After a few years of dating, Adam surprised Laura at the top of the Space Needle in Seattle by asking her to spend the rest of her life with him.

Mr. and Mrs. Adam Thomas Moore said, “I do,” August 2, 2014, at the Christ the King Catholic Church. The bride, escorted by her mother, glided down the aisle in a radiant ivory silk crepe satin A-line gown from JJ Kelly Bridal Salon. The beautiful 1920s-inspired gown was the perfect fit for the couple’s Great Gatsby-themed reception at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel.

Complete with a champagne tower, confetti cannons and an amazing dessert bar by Mishelle Handy Cakes, the evening was full of love, laughter and fun surprises for the couple and guests. The bride and groom also incorporated sentimental Sooner traditions into their celebration by singing fraternity and sorority songs as well as “Boomer Sooner.” Overall, the evening was full of sweet personal touches celebrating the happy couple amidst the celebratory mood created by Leslie Herring Events and DJ Zach Downing. After such an enchanting evening, the newlyweds were whisked away to Europe to honeymoon in Paris, Capri, Tuscany and Florence.
