It wasn’t until Kaylyn was away in another country that she realized she was missing someone in her life. Kaylyn and Rich first met on the campus of Oklahoma State University. When Kaylyn was student teaching in England, she noticed how much she missed Rich. When she came back, they reconnected and became inseparable.

Rich perfectly orchestrated his proposal to Kaylyn through the help of her friends. Kaylyn was told that she and Rich were going to be models for a styled shoot at the Salt Plains. The entire shoot was set up by Rich and served as the perfect backdrop for the proposal. For their big day, the couple planned a beautiful summer evening in downtown Oklahoma City. Guests snacked on snow cones and played outdoor yard games before heading to the reception and enjoying an intimate evening with the newlyweds.
