Jessica and Linh’s intimate and romantic wedding at Coles Garden Wedding and Event Center contains blush pink tones and aspects of their Vietnamese culture. The couple first met back in 12th grade in Trigonometry class. However, after graduation, Jessica and Linh lost touch. After four years, the couple reconnected over a summer break and realized their love for one another when they couldn’t bear to say goodbye at the end of the break. Linh got down on one knee in a park, which played a significant role in the couple’s relationship. Jessica shared with us, “You could say that the park has seen us at every stage of our relationship, and that night everything was coming to a full circle.” We absolutely love this!
Jessica and Linh began planning their romantic wedding amid a pandemic. After postponing their big day three times and tireless waiting, the couple decided to proceed with a micro wedding. Even though the couple couldn’t have all their family and friends in attendance, they felt their love from afar and had such a beautiful day. Jessica looked stunning in an off-the-shoulder gown from Bella Rose Bridal that she wore during the ceremony. After the ceremony, Jessica changed into a traditional Vietnamese dress (ao dai). Before Covid, the couple traveled to Vietnam to visit Linh’s family. While visiting Linh’s family, Jessica got the opportunity to customize her own ao dai. Jessica said, “Being able to wear it (ao dai) and represent our Vietnamese culture in such a beautiful way was so meaningful to us.”
After a beautiful outdoor ceremony filled with blush florals, guests made their way inside the romantic reception space. Wooden Hearts Boutique provided decor and rentals to help transform the space into an intimate and moody occasion. In addition to dancing guests also had the opportunity to receive a custom illustration from Amy Lee Illustration. A live illustration is such a fun experience for guests! Of course, we’d like to thank Chandler Rae Photography for capturing all the magical details for us to share. Keep scrolling to see more.
Jessica and Linh’s Dream Wedding Maker:
“Chandler, our photographer, is just so amazing at her job and has been the sweetest person to work with. She brings a positive energy to everyone she meets and goes above and beyond what a photographer does. We couldn’t be more thankful that we chose her to be there on our wedding day and to capture our best memories.”
