There is so much love in Emily and Gina’s modern rustic wedding at Southwind Hills. The couple’s special day has captured our hearts with a vibrant array of florals and desert rose details. Emily and Gina both swiped right and fell completely head over heels for one another. Gina played tricks on Emily for months about a possible engagement. She would frequently buy rings out of quarter machines and ask Emily to marry her. On a walk through the botanical gardens in St. Louis, Gina finally proposed, and this time with a real ring. On the walk, Gina asked if Emily wanted to take engagement photos. Emily laughed because the two weren’t engaged and thought she was playing another trick. However, this time Gina pulled out an actual ring box and asked Emily to spend forever with her. Of course, Emily said “yes” through a choked sob.
Southwind Hills helped Emily and Gina plan their dream modern rustic wedding. The couple wanted to be intentional about spending time with each other and their family. Therefore, the couple had their rehearsal the morning of the wedding, then got their hair done with Brushed Salon and Makeup Studio while sipping mimosas. After getting ready, the couple had their first look, where Gina surprised Emily by playing the guitar and singing a special song. The couple had a short ceremony and took pictures with the talented Ashley Sunderland Photography. Dinner and dancing followed, where all the guests let loose on the dance floor and enjoyed a sweet treat from Amy Cakes. After dancing the night away, the happy couple made their way to Embassy Suites Norman Hotel and Conference Center. You don’t want to miss all the beautiful rustic details below. Cheers!
