We’re living for the moodiness created by gorgeous florals in this boho chic wedding! It was the summer of 2009 when Kristin and Joey first met by chance while working at a surgery center as medical assistants. Kristin was just starting and Joey was returning from a recent surgery, back brace and all. They instantly became inseparable and the pair began their journey as a couple. Even after only a few months of dating, Kristin recalls telling her mother, “Be nice to this one, I plan on marrying him someday.” And so she did! Kristin and Joey tied the knot in an October wedding of romantic and moody tone. Its boho chic wedding style was pronounced by antique gold details and aubergine and maroon blooms that made up grand centerpieces from Enid Floral & Gifts that utilized natural textures which kept up the organic elegance vibe of it all.
Accenting black bridesmaids’ dresses make such a chic statement, creating a stunning contrast in photos captured by the talented Chelsea Littleton Photography all around whimsy-filled scenes. One of Kristin’s favorite wedding day memories was a little cozier though. “That evening as we returned home from a whirlwind of a day, we retreated to our patio for one final dance,” she says. “Still dressed in our wedding attire we slow danced to Ben Fold’s ‘The Luckiest.’ As we swayed in the darkness and held each other close, we whispered I love you and that was the perfect ending to the most memorable day.” We’ve never seen a sweeter boho chic wedding that combines such elegant details with a palette quite as moody as this one. There are so many elements to love in the gallery down below. Cheers to the Swinks!
From the bride on her most helpful vendor: “Ryan Fossett and his staff at Enid Floral & Gifts were an absolute dream to work with. From beginning to end, they made our wedding dreams come true. I wanted romantic and chic with a sense of bohemian whimsy and Enid Floral went above and beyond. The stunning colors, unique flower arrangements and mercury glass candle votives created an overwhelmingly beautiful evening. My husband built our arbor for the ceremony and the Enid Floral team brought it to life with breathtaking florals and pampas grass.”
