Natural Rustic Oklahoma Wedding Captured by Sarah Libby Photography | Madison + Chace
July 29
Madison and Chace met their freshman year at Deer Creek High School. The couple dated throughout high school and decided to attend Oklahoma Baptist University after graduation. Madison and Chace both enjoy sports – especially college football – though Madison roots for the University of Oklahoma and Chace for Oklahoma State University. They also enjoy camping, attending events in Oklahoma City such as H&8th and LIVE on the Plaza, and going to the lake and visiting Colorado.
Following their sophomore year at OBU, Chace proposed to Madison on the top of a mountain in Colorado while driving jeeps over mountain passes with Madison’s family. The couple then enjoyed a long engagement, which gave them plenty of time to plan their wedding while attending college.
Their January wedding ceremony was at the Chapel at Crossings Community Church, followed by a reception at The Manor at Coffee Creek. The wedding had a natural, rustic theme that included aspen tree slabs freshly cut from Colorado on every table as well as a roaring fire inside the Manor House.
The newlyweds spent their wedding night in the Colcord Hotel before heading to a remote cabin outside Telluride, Colorado, to spend the week skiing, snowmobiling, eating dinner on top of the mountain, and relaxing in a hot tub surrounded by towering mountains. The couple will be temporarily relocating to Wake Forest, North Carolina so Chace can attend seminary at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. They plan to return to Oklahoma and start a family as soon as he finishes school. The happy newlyweds are thankful for God’s sovereignty in their lives to bring them together, and look forward to his plans for their future.
