This Couple Did the Best Job Incorporating their Nigerian Heritage in their Stunning OKC Wedding
March 26
Newlyweds Victoria Nsikak and Nkem Nwankwo wanted to honor and celebrate their backgrounds, and we love how they did that in so many thoughtful ways! The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum was the perfect wedding venue for their stunning OKC wedding as it is a place that represented Victoria’s Oklahoma roots. The six-tier masterpiece of a cake from Amy Cakes is a must see, and so are the many other beautiful details! Enjoy!

From the bride: “We are both Nigerian, and we knew we wanted to incorporate our culture into our wedding. We had a traditional Nigerian ceremony on Friday night, which was tons of fun. It was great to see our American friends participate in the clothing, food, and dancing! We also had Nigerian dance performances and Nigerian food at the reception.”
