Alanna and Jacob met in high school during marching band practice. She set her sights on him after noticing him sitting on the sidelines with a broken ankle jokingly heckling performers. For seven months, the two irted before Alanna asked Jacob to prom. A few weeks later, he made it official by asking her to be his girlfriend!

After dating for ve years, Jacob planned a meaningful proposal at the Ozark Mountains. The couple hiked their favorite 5-mile trail and he popped the question when they reached the peak. Unbeknownst to Alanna, one of her best friends had been hiding in the brush taking photos and video of the exciting moment.

On the morning of their wedding, the wedding party and their families got together for a rehearsal brunch. They parted ways afterward – the men spent the day playing poker and the ladies spent the day getting ready. Ali from Profile Concierge Hair Service made Alanna and her maids look incredible. Alanna is thankful to the couple’s family and friends who made the reception and ceremony areas look immaculate. Flowers were everywhere they could be and the pergola featured draped tulle for a romantic, elegant look during the rustic ceremony. Alanna and Jacob had an outdoor ceremony followed by a ceremony inside the gorgeous venue. The couple and their families still laugh when they recall the officiant accidentally announcing them as Mr. and Mrs. Clark, the bride’s maiden name!

The newlyweds shared their first dance to “True Companion” by Marc Cohn. The couple cherished their helpful, supportive photographer Lacy of Modern Love Photography. She really built a relationship with the couple and made them feel incredibly comfortable. Alanna and Jacob’s had a dazzling sparkler send off to end the night and drove away in their truck.
