Oklahoma Wedding at Southwind Hills Barn Captured by Sarah Libby Photography | Nicole + Cooper
April 5
Nicole and Cooper are high school sweethearts who met when they were only 15 years old. After dating through high school and college, Cooper finally decided it was time to ask Nicole for her hand in marriage. Being die-hard University of Oklahoma fans, the proposal began by Nicole walking through OU’s campus.
After reading about six letters from her closest friends and family members, two of Nicole’s friends led her to the football stadium. At the stadium, Cooper was waiting for her with a perfectly romantic setup. After he finished reading a letter he had written to Nicole, he took her hand and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes.
Nicole and Cooper’s wedding day had finally arrived on a warm July morning. The entire bridal party went to blo. to get their hair done for the ceremony and reception, which were both held at Southwind Hills Barn & Estate. The bride wore a mermaid silhouette dress with a sweetheart neckline, complete with grain ribbon along the natural waistline. The wedding was filled with lavender, blush pink and white hues, the perfect colors for a whimsical wedding.
The couple’s special day was magical and filled with so much love and excitement. After their magnificent evening, the newlyweds departed for their honeymoon in St. Lucia and returned to their home in Edmond.
