Oklahoma Wedding at Southwind Hills Captured by Josh McCullock | Anna + Nick

Anna and Nick met the summer of 2010 during a summer leadership program for college. They didn’t officially get to know each other until 2013 when the two were working together on a business project in India. The relationship blossomed from there and the two headed back to the United States where they were finally able to meet each other’s families.

Anna and her best friend went out for dinner one evening and on the way they stopped at Redrock Canyon Grill to run an errand for her friend’s boss. Anna, thinking that Nick was still in South Carolina for a week, was in complete shock when she noticed flower petals, pictures of them surrounding a beautiful fireplace just outside the restaurant doors. Nick soon appeared and asked Anna to marry him. Anna happily accepted and the pair celebrated with an engagement party with friends and family.

On April 19, 2015, Anna and Nick’s dream wedding was everything they had dreamed it would be. The two were joined together by their friend Greg Pierce at Southwind Hills Enchanted Forest. They used a beautiful color scheme of white, green and pops of raspberry pink for a fresh and springy look. The bride wore a simple A-line gown in a flowy, crepe chiffon and was escorted down the aisle by her father, Robert Overhulser.

Following the ceremony, the couple shared their first dance to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. After a memorable evening, Anna and Nick made their grand exit beneath an amazing firework show with their closest friends and family there to send them off!

The newlyweds spent their blissful honeymoon in Playa Mujeres and Cancun soaking up each other’s company. They now reside in Oklahoma while still going back and forth to India.
