Organic Outdoor Wedding | Haley + Bryce

Haley and Bryce, both OSU grads, met in Stillwater at a football game in the fall of 2013. Haley had recently moved back to Texas and Bryce was living in Oklahoma City. Despite the distance, they decided to give dating a whirl and the pair’s affection for one another blossomed.

Bryce proposed to Haley in the fall of 2014 in her hometown of Canadian, Texas. Bryce worked with Haley’s sister to have both sets of parents present for the proposal on the historic Canadian River Wagon Bridge, a scenic spot the couple often visited. The surprised Haley happily accepted the proposal.

To plan out their nuptials, the couple enlisted the help of Wendie Cook to bring their dream wedding to life on the Rader Ranch. The wedding celebration began with Bubbles and Bites on Steve and Linda Rader’s spacious patios. The couple mingled with guests before the ceremony while Mike Mayes provided the music. Because the couple knew it would be impossible to get a conventional group picture of their 500 guests, they opted to go an unconventional route and have several group photos and videos taken by a drone. The ceremony was held in a tent with a rustic cedar arbor built by the groom, Steve Rader, Jim Hansen and Benjamin Needham. The tent was arranged so that each guest was seated at the dinner table in a U shape around the couple. Guests enjoyed a buffet of decadent finger foods followed by an array of the couple’s favorite desserts and candy prepared by OHMS’s Café in Amarillo, Texas. The band Souled Out provided dinner and dancing entertainment, while Aaron Snow Photography chronicled the day and photo booth. Guests parted with bags of goodies from the candy bar and succulents adorning the tables.

Haley and Bryce honeymooned in the Canadian Rockies. The newlyweds enjoyed exploring the beautiful Banff and Jasper National Parks in Alberta Canada, with the highlight being a snowy hike to teahouses above Lake Louise.
