What happens when one of our very own Brides of Oklahoma photographers gets married? An organic outdoor wedding full of soft blue hues that we can’t get enough of! Carsyn said “I do” to her hubby Collin with a beautiful October wedding in El Reno at Darlington Chapel. Carsyn met Collin at the University of Oklahoma all thanks to his pup, Titus. Titus led the couple together after Carsyn’s friends brought her to Collin’s house to meet his new dog. The couple started dating two years later, and Carsyn quickly fell in love with both Collin and Titus.

Carsyn has been photographing weddings for almost eight years, so she was ready when it came to planning her own! Having photographed so many weddings, Carsyn knew the trends and color palette she wanted. An organic wedding with soft blue hues, an emerging wedding trend, was just what she wanted. Without a doubt, Carsyn stunned the crowd in a beautiful gown from Chantilly Couture. Her hair and makeup look showed off her effortless beauty with a half-up, half-down, softly curled hair by Hayley Hall Hair and natural makeup look from Carolyn F. Beauty. In addition, Collin and his groomsmen complemented the light blue bridesmaid dresses with their dark blue suits from The Wardrobe Modern Menswear. Above all, Carsyn wanted a wedding that felt different than all the weddings she had photographed before. With this in mind, she opted for a venue she had never shot at with a tented reception. Amy Ray Events helped Carsyn create an organic feel with greenery and added romance to the space with flickering candles for their tented reception. Bubbles and Brews entertained guests with its adorable bar cart while guests sipped their drink from custom cups that let them know Titus said: “I Do Too.” The best part of the night came when the couple brought out light-up cowboy hats and DJ Steve, with OKC Entertainment, played “Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy.” The couple danced the night away before making their grand exit and heading back to their hotel at 21c Museum Hotel. From the bride on her most helpful vendor: “I rarely have a full face of makeup on and was so nervous before finding Carolyn, with Carolyn F Beauty, that I wouldn’t feel like myself on my wedding day. She truly is the BEST and created a beauty look that not only made me feel amazing, but also confident that I would never question the timeless look.”
