Brandi and Ty are both from Oklahoma, but just happened to meet in Kansas City. They were both competing in the National Junior Maine-Anjou stock show in 2008 when a large storm trapped everyone in the barns. Ty being very interested in Brandi smoothly went over to the area she was in to see if they had any Dr. Pepper. The pair ended up talking all night and two months later, Ty asked Brandi for her number.
The couple had been together for years and it was finally time to take the extra step in their relationship. They were having their weekly casual dinner at Brandi’s best friend’s house when out of nowhere Ty got down on one knee and, with nervous chuckles between each and every word, asked Brandi to spend the rest of her life with him. She happily accepted the proposal.
Wedding planning went along smoothly and on August 29, 2015, their day had finally arrived. They started off the evening with a beautiful ceremony held at Heritage Springs Events in Anna, Texas. The bride looked absolutely breathtaking as she walked down the aisle in a fit and flare gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and bodice made of silk Venice lace. The highlight of the couple’s special day was exchanging their vows and feeling the subtle squeezes in each other’s hands throughout the ceremony.
As for the reception, it was nothing short of a magical time. The bride and groom had their first dance as newlyweds to “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait. Brandi and Ty didn’t want the night to end, but were both excited to spend the next two weeks in Hayman Island and Sydney, Australia.
The happy couple now resides in Madill, Oklahoma.
