Lauren Davis Weds Cooper Treadway | Romantic Southwind Hills Wedding

Lauren and Cooper met during high school through a shared group of friends. Early on, Cooper started crushing on Lauren. After playing hard to get, Lauren thought they should give dating a shot so they went to the Chickasha Festival of Lights with friends. The pair shared an affection toward one another early on, and the rest is history!

On a chilly January evening, the couple went ice skating at the Myriad Botanical Gardens for what Lauren thought was a typical date. They attempted to skate for about an hour until deciding to thaw out over coffee. Lauren soon noticed Cooper was acting nervous. After fibbing about losing his car keys, Cooper suggested they walk around the gardens – something Lauren didn’t want to do since it was freezing. Throughout dating, the Myriad Gardens was “their spot” as they visited often. Shy Cooper began reminiscing about the past, which immediately brought butterflies to Lauren’s stomach. After spending hours in the frigid temperatures, Cooper found a secluded spot where he got down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him. She accepted through floods of tears.

Lauren and Cooper celebrated the best day of their lives June 8, 2017, at Southwind Hills. The bride loved working with Southwind Hills’ Elaine Tabor who made their wedding day stellar. When the time came for photographer Tammy Odell to walk with Lauren to the forest for the first look, Lauren was overcome with emotion. Walking up to Cooper was one of the most exhilarating moments of her life.

Prior to the ceremony, Lauren couldn’t hold back tears. When she reached Cooper at the altar, it became real for the couple. They exchanged heartfelt, handwritten vows. The newlyweds admit the rest of the night flew by; they wish they could relive the night over and over!
