Heidi Vollbrecht Weds Robert Mandraccia | Traditional Oklahoma Country Club Wedding

A day filled with romance and luxury was exactly what Heidi and Robbie wanted for their traditional Oklahoma country club wedding. Bountiful florals and a magnificent cake from Amy Cakes helped create the beautiful atmosphere captured perfectly in every photo. Heidi and Robbie both grew up in Edmond, but went on completely different journeys. It was by chance and mutual friendships that their paths continued to cross over the years. In 2005, fate was on their side when Heidi’s twin sister introduced her to Robbie while they were all hanging out with friends in Norman for a University of Oklahoma football game. Over the next two years, the pair developed a friendship.

On New Year’s Eve 2007, that friendship changed when the couple shared their first kiss as the clock struck midnight. Heidi and Robbie took their relationship slow while dating, sharing the good times and overcoming obstacles that made them stronger and brought them even closer together. On Christmas Eve 2015, Robbie proposed to Heidi in front of both of their families. She said yes and the celebration was truly a family affair!

To assemble her dream wedding, Heidi worked alongside her mother, sisters, and the design teams at Eventures and New Leaf Florist. The episcopal ceremony was a spiritual experience for the heart and soul, embracing family and friends, young and old. The celebration continued at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club with a modern yet romantic cocktail party and dinner reception. The ballroom was a spectacular sight of florals in hues of navy and pink as well as an amazing band, dazzling white dance floor, and an overabundance of cocktails, cake and comfort food. The joyous day and evening was one Heidi and Robbie will remember for a lifetime!

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lawrence Mandraccia left for Disney World two days later and began their Happily Ever After!
