Although they had known each other since 2009, Morgan and Fred didn’t begin dating until three years later when his fraternity and her sorority were paired for homecoming at Oklahoma State University. On New Year’s Eve 2013, Fred proposed to Morgan in true cowboy style on his family’s ranch.

Morgan had a unique vision for their special day so she enlisted the help of Maria Edwards Wilkinson of Maria’s Garden to help achieve the look she wanted. After a full year of planning, the big day finally arrived!

Morgan Alexandra Hannabass and Fred Alexander Chapman IV were married on January 3, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church of Ardmore. Morgan, escorted down the aisle by her father, was stunning in an elegant ivory appliqué mermaid-style gown with a high neckline. The bride carried a romantic bouquet of white hydrangeas, cream vendela roses, peach David Austin roses, white spray roses and white hypericum berry accented with port orford cedar and princess pine. Morgan and Fred were blessed to spend their special day accompanied by a wedding party of 20 of their closes friends and family members.

Following the ceremony, the couple joined guests at the Ardmore Convention Center. Hues of chocolate, ivory, gold and blush adorned the reception hall decorated to portray the couple’s rustic but elegant style. Facades of rusted tin and old barn wood, built buy the groom himself, lined the walls, while antler sheds and gold mercury glass complemented the gorgeous woodland-inspired arrangements designed by Maria’s Garden. Guests enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dancing before lining the sidewalk with sparklers to see the couple off to spend their dream honeymoon at Sugar Beach in St. Lucia. Following a week of fun in the sun, they returned home to their ranch near Sulphur, Oklahoma.
