Samantha Thomas and Travis Peterson said, “I do,” with a minimalist modern wedding full of clean lines and neutrals. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, the couple met at their local gym. The two had mutual friends, but their paths had never crossed prior to seeing each other at the gym every day. Travis reached out to one of their mutual friends to see if she would set up a double date. The night went exceptionally well, but Travis forgot to ask Samantha for her number. Nonetheless, Travis mustered up the courage to DM Samantha to ask for her number. Travis and Samantha planned another date, and the couple has been together ever since.

Travis proposed to Samantha on her 30th birthday trip to a vineyard near Athens, TX. Of course, Samantha said “YES” to the love of her life, and the two began planning their dream modern wedding. Since Samantha and Travis are both from and live in Wichita, they called in help from Ever Something to plan their wedding. And boy did Ever Something deliver the most beautiful modern wedding. To begin with, the couple invited guests to join them with invitations from Chirps & Cheers. You can never go wrong with a beautiful black and white invitation suite with modern text and clean lines. Next, Party Pro Rents provided all the decor and rentals to transform the blank canvas space into a modern dreamscape. Guests enjoyed catering from Just Catering by Orr and a slice of cake from Sweet Devotion Cakery to top it off. Throughout the night, Samantha and Travis even included Travis’s favorite dessert, Krispy Kreme donuts. Instead of doing a traditional guest book, Samantha and Travis had guests print off an extra photo from MVP Photo Booth and leave a special message on the back of each photo. We absolutely love this idea! Finally, the highly talented Caroline Eliza Co. captured and told a story through every image she captured in Samantha and Travis’ big day.
