You are cordially invited to Singapore’s wedding of the year with this vibrant and whimsical garden editorial inspired by the modern love story Crazy Rich Asians. The over-the-top wedding of Nick Young’s best friends Araminta and Colin is a botanical dreamscape full of luscious florals and butterfly accents. Our editorial adaptation of the film’s notorious wedding scene is a vibrant and whimsical garden soirée that even Nick’s Ah Ma (grandmother) would approve of. Captured at The Baumberhof, their glass top aisle nearly mirrors Araminta’s iconic water-run walkway. A floral wall from Forever Borrowed with bright blooming buds and dripping orchid blooms served as the ceremony focal point. As most of you know the film, Crazy Rich Asians is all about high fashion, so of course, we showcased a show-stopping dress. The bride wore a ruffled deep-V Monique Lhuillier gown with a gorgeous tiara fit for a princess from J.J. Kelly Bridal Salon. We can just picture Nick Young’s fashionista cousin Astrid wishing to have that dress and tiara as her own. M Salon accented the dazzling tiara with a sleek updo and a bright red lip. The vibrant and whimsical editorial dripped in butterfly accents similar to the movie. Eros Studios created a butterfly-inspired invitation suite, menu, and place cards, while Amy Cakes displayed cascading butterflies down her cake. Finally, the ever-so-talented Andi Bravo Photography captured gorgeous images with her fine art photography. We like to think that Eleanor Young would give us her emerald engagement ring as a sign of approval for all the loveliness captured by Andi Bravo Photography. If you can’t get enough of this vibrant and whimsical garden editorial, we have great news for you!
